About Flareon EX Sandstorm 5/100 Holo Rare

Flareon EX Sandstorm 5/100 Holo Rare is a classic Pokémon card from the EX Series era, released by The Pokémon Company in September 2003. This card is part of the international EX Sandstorm set, which consists of 100 cards, and marks Flareon as one of the most sought-after Eeveelutions among collectors of Pokémon single cards. Flareon is illustrated by the acclaimed artist Midori Harada, further increasing the card's collector value and visual appeal.

Card details and gameplay mechanics

Flareon 5/100 is a Stage 1 Fire-type card that evolves from Eevee. The card is a Rare Holo variant, which means only the artwork area has a holofoil effect, as opposed to the reverse holo version, where the entire card except the artwork is foil. This makes the holo version particularly interesting for collectors who want to distinguish the two variants in their collection.

• HP: 80
• Attack 1 – Super Singe: 20 damage; requires a coin flip, and on “heads” the opponent's Pokémon becomes Burned
• Attack 2 – Flamethrower: 70 damage; requires discarding a Fire Energy card
• Weakness: Water ×2
• Retreat Cost: 2 Energy
• Illustrator: Midori Harada

These mechanics represent the classic EX era and make the card an authentic piece of Pokémon history.

Collector interest and vintage value

Flareon EX Sandstorm 5/100 Holo Rare is an excellent choice for collectors of Eeveelutions, EX Sandstorm, or vintage Pokémon cards in general. The card is a raw individual card in English, not sealed and not graded, which means it is supplied as a loose card without an official assessment. The condition is listed as “NM” (Near Mint) in the title, but there is no official grading or details on centering, whitening, or other condition parameters. This makes the card ideal for those who want an authentic vintage card for their binder, display, or as a supplement to a collection of EX Series single cards.

Storage and protection of your card

To preserve the condition of the Flareon card, it is recommended to use sleeves, toploaders, or other accessories for storage. This protects the card from wear and helps ensure it remains in the best possible condition over time.

Note: The product is a single, raw Pokémon card from EX Sandstorm, 5/100, Holo Rare. No extra accessories are included, and no guarantee of official grading is provided.
