Rayquaza-EX 85/124 Dragons Exalted – Ultra Rare Pokémon card

Rayquaza-EX 85/124 from Black & White—Dragons Exalted is a notable Ultra Rare Pokémon card for collectors and players interested in the Black & White era. This card is the standard print (not Full Art) from the set released on August 15, 2012, and marks the introduction of the Dragon-type in Pokémon TCG. The card is sold as a raw, English single card without accessories or sealing, and its condition has been rated NM (Near Mint) by the shop – please note this is not an independent grading.

Card mechanics and features

Rayquaza-EX is a Basic Pokémon-EX of Dragon-type with 170 HP, illustrated by Eske Yoshinob. The card’s attacks and mechanics make it appealing for both players and collectors:

• Celestial Roar: Discard the top three cards of your deck; any Energy cards among them can be attached to Rayquaza-EX.
• Dragon Burst: Deals 60 damage for each Fire or Lightning Energy you choose to discard from Rayquaza-EX.
• EX rule: When Rayquaza-EX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes two Prize cards.

The card has a Dragon weakness ×2, no resistance, and a retreat cost of 1.

Collector and play relevance

Rayquaza-EX 85/124 is a Rare Holo EX and a central card in the Black & White single cards collection. It is especially popular among Rayquaza fans and collectors of EX cards from older Pokémon TCG formats. This card should not be confused with the Full Art variant (123/124) from the same set – this is the classic holographic standard print.

For collectors seeking an authentic piece of the Black & White era and for players exploring older formats, Rayquaza-EX is an obvious choice. The card’s design, mechanics, and Eske Yoshinob’s illustration make it a sought-after item in any Pokémon card collection.
